Instill — save your AI prompts, use them in any tool
A home for your best AI prompts. Save them once, then use them in Claude, Cursor, or any AI tool you work with. No more copy-paste.
Challenge
Good prompts get lost. You write one that works well in ChatGPT, then forget where you saved it. You switch to Claude the next day and rebuild it from memory. Teams have it worse — the best prompts sit on one person's laptop and never get shared. There was no simple way to save a prompt, keep improving it, and plug it into whatever AI tool you happen to be using.
Solution
Instill is a personal library for your prompts. You save each one as a skill with a name and a short description. It lives in your account, so it is always there. When you want to use it, Instill plugs into your AI tool and the skill shows up like a shortcut. Type the name, it runs. One prompt, any tool. You can share skills with your team, keep older versions as you improve them, and import skills other people have built.
Tech Proposal
Built with Next.js 16 and hosted on Vercel. Skills are stored as plain text files, so they are easy to back up, share, or move. Instill connects to AI tools through an open standard called MCP, which means it already works with Claude and Cursor — and will work with any future tool that supports it.
